When children read Ivy and Olive I want them to be excited for their newest wonderful idea! I also want to tap into a parent’s need to shut off from technology and just experience the here and now with their children. This is a cherished, precious time and does not last long.  How enjoyable for parents and kids alike to go back to the place where we are free to be. I hope the whimsy, joy and playfulness of my book open readers’ hearts to that freedom.
